Out Of Place.

A play-through of my first Unity game called Out of Place.
Based on my experience of being a third culture kid and old PS1 graphics, it’s an interactive art piece that’s intended to confuse and disorientate viewers to recreate the whirlwind of emotions that children of immigrants feel.

My first playable vertical slice Bygone, made on Gamemaker.

Bagman.

A little portion of my first-ever attempt to animate for a mixed-media university project called Bagman. On Adobe Animate, I used a video we had shot during filming and used the technique rotoscoping since we were on a tight deadline. This project was a finalist in the Expresso 90 Film Awards and a quarter-finalist in the Big Fridge International Film Festival.

A snippet of an interactive website I made for a university project, inspired by a close friend’s travel story. We’re CIosed was made to look like a game, as though it was a prototype. It was animated primarily on After Effects using a mix of free-to-use assets and photos I shot.

Photo Experimentation.

This series of photos was experimental photography for an university prompt. Based on a similar theme to Out of Place, I attempted to visualize the experience of being lost and in a new, foreign place in a slightly more grungy and editoral sense.

Bygone.
